These pieces are all inspired by the illustrations of the Royal Horticultural Society orchid show winners.  Since 1897 the Orchid Commitee has been recording prizwinning orchids, which has produced a wealth of material to work from.  These pieces are not only inspired by the plants depicted within, but by the style of the illustrations themselves.
